Slider Process Development & Integration (PDI) is a team working on HAMR (Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording) slider development and all the slider processes improvement. The PDI upstream & Flatness team consists of row bar slicing, low stress bar polishing, bar mount stress control, slider flatness control and dicing. The team is developing new slider processes or technology to meet future product roadmap requirements.
Seagate Korat facility is the largest manufacturing site worldwide, with almost 20,000 employees. Here, the team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finish drives.
