The candidate will be learning and working on different Treasury systems along with MS excel and PowerPoint to help achieve the team's major objectives, viz. cash consolidation, optimizing the yield on surplus cash and ensuring sufficient liquidity is available in all accounts in the region

Job Description

• Cash Operations team – Asia supports the GE businesses across all countries in Asia. The team develops strategies and tactical implementation plans to effectively manage cash to ensure adequate liquidity support to various businesses across the region. The main functions entail consolidation of cash consolidation, optimizing the yield on surplus cash and ensuring sufficient liquidity is available in all accounts in the region
• The candidate applies general knowledge of businesses developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
• Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
• Collaborates with others to solve issues. Develops strong relationships with businesses and banks and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires basic knowledge of Finance. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor/Master's degree in Finance from an accredited university.
