Role Summary/Purpose
The Project Operations Intern supports Asia on planning of the project operating rhythm and collaborates with Project Execution Team to drive operational excellence for the Asia Pole across the Gas Power New Units projects organization. This role is expected to deliver improved internal stakeholders’ experience and drive efficient review process with Asia Region Project Reviews and Global Business Reviews. You should have a mindset of operating at the highest standards of EHS and Quality, and strong focus to Deliver On time to generate positive financial results for the Company.
Essential Responsibilities
You shall :
Support planning and readiness activities that’s leading up to Asia projects operating rhythm with a focus on critical business processes which includes, but not limited to, Business Line Reviews (BLR), Monthly Operations review (MOR), Project Operational/Margin Reviews (PMR), Escalation Management, Commercial and Warranty handovers.
Support the preparation of presentations and pre-read materials for our Weekly business line reviews and Monthly Operations Reviews by working with key functions and project teams to deliver a straightforward and impactful message that calls for actions to be taken to arrive at the range of outcomes for the Business.
Participate in Project Reviews and take keynotes and action plans for the teams as assigned.
Own and publish KPI Reports (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost/Cash/Margins) for Asia Pole & Project Execution Team and ensure data accuracy is maintained.
Partner with Digital Team to simplify and automate the Reporting mechanism in place.
Drive excellence in data management through controlled and consistent updates and analytics to support Project reviews, Risk & Opportunity management, Key Project Milestones, and other applicable information of the data value stream process
Have a sound process mindset to draw linkages across multiple systems and tools to define and track meaningful KPIs that ultimately improves the Business Operations. E.g. Non-conformities in NCR Tool to external recoveries in Unifier Tool
Maintain Action Tracking Tool in Pulse and on Smartsheet that supports the Daily Management journey of the Project Execution Team.
Be a change agent to the Pole’s Lean execution journey, and be agile to ultimately be part of a balanced Global Function-Pole Execution ecosystem
Desired Characteristics
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
