About our group:
Global Packaging Engineering group is a global team responsible for packaging of finished HDDs, SSDs, HDD components, Retail products, assembled Systems and Systems peripherals. Our group works closely with all Seagate HDD factories (Korat, Wuxi), Seagate Media and Substrate factories (Woodlands, JBS), EDS design center and contract manufacturer (Foxconn Guadalajara), Seagate Consumer Product group in Fremont and contract manufacturers (in China, Taiwan, Thailand, and USA).
About the role - you will:
● Perform packaging testing and design.
● Issue packaging test reports
● Generate document packaging drawings and processes.
● Manage packaging BOMs and engineering specification transaction.
● Develop/generate and document packaging instructions of system product.#internship
About you:
● Knowledge in mechanical engineering.
● Ability to effectively understand and interpret engineering drawing.
● Ability to effectively understand and interpret bill of material.
● Ability to collect and analyze data and problem-solving.
